The CSA, or community supported art practice, is a 3-month subscription that comes to 50 people in the mail. The CSA includes new music and writing, as well as DIY projects designed to get subscribers to sing and write music at home, interact with each other, and enjoy analog pleasures in the time of COVID-19.
The Summer CSA (2020)
Featured: 3 new singles from Emily, reissues of collaborations with Erin Markey, Adam Brody and Patrick Costello, the cell phone bed, “Us/Not Us” sheet music and instructional video, a portable tea party pack, and zines: one about spotted lanternflies and one about building anti-racist family culture, with the Rev. Lois McCullen Parr (my aunt).
The Winter CSA (2021)
Features: 3 new singles from Emily, the Moon Money Marketplace (where participants exchanged an alternative currency in a digital marketplace), The Every Day Song Book featuring songs submitted by subscribers, and collaborations with guest artists Kate Poole, Wit Lopez and Jackie Soro.
